The world is doomed to destruction. Only one girl can save it. 

When Ky’ara leaves late for a meeting of the King’s Council, she thinks all she has to worry about is facing her uncle’s wrath. But when she arrives, that becomes the least of her worries. Everyone on the council has been brutally slaughtered. A dying bodyguard entrusts her with a Crystal and tells her to go to a place she has never even heard of. To top it off, suddenly she can use magic—illegal magic. Before she knows it, Ky'ara is involved with a secret rebel organization, training to become a Druid, and fighting against the very establishment she was once a part of.
