The Alchemist's Ghost Series:

This story is a gaslamp fantasy romance set in a world where ghosts have begun appearing and nobody knows why—not even the ghosts themselves.

Lia can’t remember anything before three years ago, none of the ghosts can. She doesn’t even know her real name. Her only connection to the ordinary humans is through her inexplicable attraction to Nik, a professor at the local university and head of their research into the ghost phenomenon.

Desperate to be with Nik, Lia teams up with an unsavory gang leader trying to find a way to become solid. She juggles her search for a “cure”  with trying to care for ghostly orphans and working for the mysterious “Movement”, an organization that is trying to upend the ghosts’ way of life and establish a functioning society.

Book 1: The Alchemist's Ghost (100% done, querying)

Book 2: The Alchemist's Ledger (1st draft done, queued for editing)

Book 3: TBD (0.1%)

The Chronicle of the Seekers (With Makayla Nielson):

Book 1: The Voyage of Clara Bowman (100% done, querying)

I like to describe this book as Anne of Green Gables goes on an Indiana Jones-style adventure to find the promised land.

When Clara, a naive, impetuous farm girl, is forced to flee her home country because of religious persecution, she follows her great-grandfather’s journal on a perilous expedition to find a safe haven for her people.

Book 2: The Proving of Levi Perez (Currently editing, 20%)

This book is from the point of view of Levi, who is a character in book 1. Any more information would give major spoilers for book 1, so for now I'll leave it at that.

Book 3: The Deliverance of Vivienne White (0.1%)

This book is just in the planning stage, but will take place from Vivienne's point of view and have Clara and others from the series as side characters.

Book 4: The Settlement of Laaikka (0%)

This book is in the idea stage.

Midnight Sub Series (With Makayla Nielson)

This series started as a joke between Makayla and me, and evolved into a multi-book Middle Grade humorous mystery with speculative elements (read: things that can't possibly be real but are treated as plausible within the books). We wanted it to be like the A to Z mysteries books, but with Phineas and Ferb vibes. Each book revolves around a different meaning of the word "Sub".

Book 1: The Sensational Sandwich (100% done, querying)

When the already questionable school lunches slide even further downhill, a group of kids decide to check out the new, quirky sandwich shop in town, where something is definitely fishy. When none of the adults believe them, it is up to them to stop the nefarious sandwich shop and save the town—and their school lunches—from disaster.

Book 2: The Suspicious Substitute (0.1%)

This book is in the planning stage.
